During the war, Koon repeatedly led perilous missions with the soldiers of the 104th Battalion under his command.  

History/Background Body Paragraph: Plo Koon was born on the planet Dorin, the homeworld of the Kel Dor species, and was accustomed to breathing in an oxygen-depleted atmosphere, necessitating him to travel with an antiox breath mask. Born into a Force-sensitive family, Koon's own Force-sensitivity was found early on, and he was turned over to the Jedi Order for instruction.
