General Information Body Paragraph: 

The Clone Wars was a war during the Galactic Republic Era. The war was caused when seperatists from the Confederacy of Independent Systems launched a military invasion on Naboo using an army of battle droids. During this time, Obi Wan and Jedi Master Qui Gon Jinn were sent to investigate and to free the royal family and the pilots. They ended up recruiting the help  of the Gungans to fight off the droid army long enough to buy time for the royal Naboo Starfighter Corps to disable the main operating system of the droid army, saving the Gungans and the entire planet of Naboo frmo being destroyed. Unfortunately, Qui Gon Jinn was killed by Sith Apprentice Darth Maul in the process, avenged by his padawan Obi Wan Kenobi. 

History/Background Body Paragraph:

 The Galactic Republic then found out there was a creation of a Clone Army 10 years ago before the Naboo invasion, which was ordered by the presently late Jedi Master Sifo Dyas. The Galactic Republic at that time was having re-elections, and elected Palpatine to be the new Chancellor to replace Chancellor Valorum. He was given emergency powers and he used it to retaliate against the Seperatists using their newfound Clone Army. And from then on, war broke out, with the first battlefield being on Geonosis. 

Additional Information Body Paragraph: 

Chancellor Palpatine was the secret Sith Lord the Jedi were looking for. He used his position as Chancellor and the emergency powers given to him to orchestrate the war, weakening both the Republic and Seperatists. When he was at the height of his power, he gave out Order 66 to destroy the Jedi Order and claim the galaxy on his own by reforming the Republic into the Galactic Empire, employing Vader as his 2nd in command, both of them ruled the Galaxy with an iron fist. Some would say the Clone Wars was the beginning of the end as everything in the Republic only started to go downhill when the war started.
