 Holocrons are a form of storage device for Jedi and Sith. There are two types of them: a Sith Holocron only accessible by dark side users and Jedi Holocrons accessible by light side users. They were used in both orders for many years they contained ancient lessons or valuable context they were only palm sizes but through force, they could be accessed in some cases the person trying to gain access to the knowledge in side they would not be granted access this was because the knowledge they try to gain access to wasn’t for their eyes. 

History/Background Body Paragraph: 

 The history of Holocrons. They were information storage devices; some of them had transparent shells while others had crystalline material. when a force user accessed a Holocron and opened it successfully it would then glow brightly the Sith holocrons function similarly they looked nearly the same as the Jedi Holocron yet only the Sith was shaped like a triangle while the Jedi were shaped like a box but unlike the Jedi Holocron they could be accessed by any force sensitive. These holoclones would act as sources of knowledge and wisdom of the force which connected living things to the force which is said to bounds all things living together the data played back would normally be of a person who records this information to the Holocron this person would be seen speaking the information back through the Holocron to the person accessing the Holocron this information could either old or new. Depending on the importance of the information there would be other mechanics to ensure the protection of the Holocron this mechanism could be that only force sensitives attuned to the force could access. Holocrons could be paired as they had a memory crystal.  If you accessed the Holocron correctly the mechanics would grant the seeker access to its data stored inside. Over a hundred holocrons were constructed and the Jedi keep them in a library known as the Jedi archives in the temple of Coruscant.

 Holocrons included texts about different force styles and would give information on how to use and teach them some holocrons were constricted as they contained dangerous information. The earliest holocron was given to the day behind, the precursors of the Jedi. Also, several Jedi holocrons were by Grakkus Hutt he kept on the planet Nar Shadda later these were found by Darth Vader and taken to further Vader’s Jedi training.
