Force-Imbued Blade 

General Information Body Paragraph:

This was one of the first-ever lightsaber variants that was wielded by the Je’Daii. They were practically just katanas that ancient Je’Daii would attune themselves to. This caused the blades to have a glow that would appear in different ways. Examples include; lightning-like cuts, discoloration, fire-like aura, or just lack any form of special glow at all. The blades, being imbued with the force, were able to cut through most materials. They were even capable of cutting through dark side spirits. 

History/Background Body Paragraph:

This blade was first made on Tython in the forges of Vur Tepe by the Je’Daii order. This blade would become the signature weapon for the order until the Forcesaber would be introduced circa 25,793 BBY. This blade would be forged by padawans who recently graduated into Je’daii Journeyer or Ranger. They would select a bar of high-carbon metal, normally durasteel, and would then hammer the bar into a blade. As it was being forged, the Force was imbued into the blade, changing the molecular structure of the metal into a reinforced lattice. This not only hardened the metal but prepared the blade for the next step. Once the blade was forged, an initiate would place a crystal inside the hilt and would then bind the crystal and the blade together. This was accomplished by deep meditation into the force.

This blade was not exclusive to the Je’daii. It was also widely used by followers of the Bogan and the Legions of Lettow. Since the Force-Imbued blades were bonded with their holder, many Sith Lords opted to stick with their blades instead of swapping to the modern lightsaber. Many people also say that the blade is equal to or stronger than the modernized lightsaber.
