General Information Body Paragraph:

The Multi-Troop Transport also known as the “MTT '' for short was a repulsorcraft with the role of transporting troops to and across the battlefield. The transporter had a cargo  capacity of up to 100 tons which consisted of B1 Battle Droids or it could also carry B2 Super Battle Droids which were carried inside of the transport in a rack which could quickly deploy its full cargo on the battlefield. The MTT was powered by a Premion Mk. II power generator which enabled it to hover at a max height of 4 metres and reach a top speed of 31kph. The Multi-Troop Transport was extremely powerful on its own even without the droids it could carry as it had thicc armour, close range sensors and 17kv antipersonnel twin blasters capable of shooting down a starfighter.

The MTT had many benefits but it was not used quite as often as the CIS “AAT” due to its larger size, slower speed and rather large cost of 120,200 credits.

History/Background Body Paragraph:

The Multi-Troop Transports were first deployed during the invasion of Naboo where they were used to destroy the dense forest in order to create a path for other troops and as carriers for the invading ground forces, during this invasion they provided important support and most likely the invasion could have been stopped earlier if it wasn’t for them. After this first deployment they continued to be used by the CIS until the end of the war as they were intended to be used. After the war some MTTs were found or captured by small insurgent groups or mercenaries where they continued to fight even years after the war had ended.

The MTT was built by the Baktoid Armor Workshop on Geonosis. During tranzit all droids stored inside of the hull remained deactivated until being deployed. In some rare cases the MTT would also carry BX-droid commandos. The standard operating procedure for the tank was to push and provide support until given a location to deploy the droid forces inside, once given a location it would go to it, cease movement and open the large hatch located at the front of the vehicle which enabled the rack holding the droid to exit the hull. After these steps were completed the droids would be activated and they would move to a specific location in order to form a proper formation and begin their mission. The MTT would then remain alongside the droids to defend and support them or in some cases be recalled to pick up a new droid unit which required transport but this almost never happend.
