A primordial humanoid species, the Noghri. They had skin that was steely grey or blue, and because of their prowess in hand-to-hand fighting and stealth, they were incredibly skilled assassins. They had claws, teeth, and a sense of smell so keen that they could detect one's bloodline. Despite their diminutive size, they were effective killers. In terms of culture, they were similar to the Wookiee race in that they valued honour above all else. Clan-based Noghri civilization revolved around the dukha, or communal structure, in the middle of each hamlet.

History/Background Body Paragraph:

Natives of the planet Honoghr, the Noghri. The Noghri were held as slaves by the Rakata of the Infinite Empire long before the Clone Wars decimated their home. The Force-sensitive individuals among them became some of the first members of the Je'daii Order after being transported to the Tython system by the Tho Yor. Later, several Noghri slaves were transported to the Unknown Regions and then transferred to the planet Tulpaa. The Rakatans' old constructions were seen by the ex-slaves as relics of the gods' time on Honoghr, even if the empire itself eventually vanished into history. It was well known at the time that the various tribes had a long history of blood rivalry.

Khabarakh's acute bloodline odour detection once identified Leia Organa Solo as Darth Vader's child, making her the Mal'ary'ush. Even in their most relaxed state, Noghri were fierce fighters who gave their all to their fights and never once showed humour. Noghri had a single minded focus on doing their assignment which devoured them entirely until their mission goal was reached.
