The planet Maramere was a planet that was found in the Outer Rim Territories, and was the homeworld of the Mere species. Maramere was dominated by Lord Toat who was part of the Trade Federation, and it was used to store Stygium crystals from another planet called Aeten II.

History/Background Body Paragraph:

Even though the planet was rid of crime from 27 BBY, until 24 BBY, it was the time when Toat was killed by Sol Sixxa with the aid of Nym. The planet was eventually liberated from the Trade Federation. Furthermore, the Trade Federation still used its vast resources to once more recapture the planet. However, they were eventually defeated by Nym with the assistance of Adi Gallia in 22 BBY.

Nym and Gallia liberated prisoners first from Spacestation 1138, and later set out to defeat Harro Ruuk, in which they succeeded. The Lok Revenant were pirates of Nym and Gallia that had guarded over Maramere from Sabaoth Squadron's Hex Deployers and Bombers, who tried to use trihexalon to poison the planet. Luckily, Nym was able to destroy the Trade Federation base on Mount Merakan.

Maramere was also a thriving resort world, and during the Clone Wars, it would remain loyal to the Galactic Republic. Drama Korr was assassinated by Durge in 20 BBY aboard a starship close to Maramere.
