General Information Body Paragraph:

Zygerrians have a rich history in the slave trade and became the monopoly holders of the commerce up until events indirectly preceding the Clone Wars during the Old Republic era. The Zygerrian Slave Empire was once again formed during the Clone Wars under the rule of the Separatist sympathiser Queen Miraj. The Zygerrian homeworld of Zygerria was built upon raised platforms known as mesas and the majority of the labor was performed by slaves. Species such as Togruta suffered under the whips of Zygerrian masters and this prompted a second Jedi invasion of the Empire to put an end to the practice.

History/Background Body Paragraph:

The Zygerrians attempted a reform of the Empire during the Galactic Imperial era in the confusion of the regime change from Republic to Autocracy. Taking advantage of this, some remnants of the Zygerrian Empire joined together to try and recapture the lost glory. This attempt was thwarted by the Clone Force 99 (Bad Batch). More Zygerrians again tried to recreate the Slave Empire, the most notable being MaDall who was defeated by the Mandalorian Sabine Wren, who created a internal revolt.

The Empire was a monarchy led by the Royal Family and a Prime Minister who handled day to day affairs. Thus, the hierarchy was centralized heavily into a small group which allowed more direct control over the Empire; this led to a wealthy and powerful regime.
