General Information Body Paragraph: 

Naga Sadow was an ancient Sith Lord who was born around 200 years after the Second Great Schism, and  led the Sith Empire through the Great Hyperspace War against Empress Teta and the Jedi Order. Naga Sadow is also known to have triggered stars in the Cron Cluster to form a supernova, which is responsible for leaving the Jedi retreat on Ossus scarred. Sadow preached a philosophy of expansion, which was very odd. At the time, the Sith purposely isolated themselves.

History/Background Body paragraph: 

After the death of previous Dark Lord of the Sith Marka Ragnos, Naga Sadow decided that he was the rightful heir to the throne. At Ragnos’ funeral on Korriban, after arriving late, Sadow ascended the steps of Ragnos’ tomb, and declared himself the Dark Lord of the Sith. Sadow’s rival, Ludo Kressh, instantly challenged his declaration. By Sith tradition, they decided to fight to the death. Just as they were about to initiate in the fight, the spirit of previous Dark Lord of the Sith Marka Ragnos appeared. He warned the two to stop, as the Golden Age of the Sith would soon end, and their fighting would only harm the Empire.

Additional Information Body Paragraph: 

After Sadow’s and Kressh’s ‘almost’ fight, two Republic explorers happened to stumble upon Korriban. Of course, they were imprisoned immediately upon arrival. However, Sadow staged an escape to make it seem like it was a Republic operation. He then used fear of the Republic to try and unite the Sith Empire to fight against the Republic, since no one believed in his philosophy of expansion. After eliminating his rival Ludo Kressh’s forces, he proceeded with his attack on the Republic.
