General Information Body Paragraph:

Darth Revan, a male of the human species believed to be born around the year 3994 BBY somewhere in the Outer Rim Territories was originally a force sensitive being that studied the Light Side of the Force as a padawan in the Jedi Order until he eventually fell to the dark side and became the Dark Lord of this Sith. He was trained under many different Jedi Masters such as well known Jedi Master and historian Kreia, also known as Darth Traya. Revan was also commonly criticized as Revan the Butcher however also honored as the Revan and/or the Revanchist by many individuals. Owned brown eyes however once falling to the dark side, they turned Sith yellow. Revans physical body was killed on the planet Yavin IV in the year 3637 BBY and a few years later his spirit was killed off by Satele Shan in the year 3626 BBY.

History/Background Body Paragraph:
During the early days of being a padawan within the Jedi Order, Revan quickly developed a friendship with another young padawan named Alek, later to be known as Darth Malek. The pair found a similarity between them as they both shared a deep hatred for the Mandalorians and both wished to end the ongoing war between the Mandalorians and the Galactic Republic. Both Revan and Alek firmly believed that the Council had not done enough to help aid the ongoing war with the Mandalorians and instead they both denied the Council’s orders and joined the Republic Military’s fight against the Mandalorians whilst in defiance of the Jedi Order. The council grew frustrated with Revan’s and Alek’s actions and both became wanted by the Jedi Order which caused Alek to change from his original name to Malak.  This meant they had to hide from the Jedi but also had to help out in the war with the Mandalorians. The war ended up taking place on the planet of Malachor V where the Galactic Republic with the aid of Revan and Malak were able to defeat the Mandalorians and pursue the remaining survivors to the Unknown Regions. However whilst doing so, the pair found themselves discovering a reconstituted Sith Empire where they were forced to turn to the Dark Side of the Force by the Sith Emperor known as Tenebrae. They were both appointed as Dark Lord of the Sith with Revan being the master of Malak and were both eventually able to break free of the Emperor's mental control and established their own new empire. Taking control of an ancient space station known as the Star Forge which was built by the Rakata species, Revan was able to start a war with the Republic with hope that in the end the Jedi Order would be gone as a result. This marked the start of the Jedi Civil War. On a mission, Malak decided to betray Revan, after having his jaw cut off by him, in anger and frustration, and turned his weapons on Revan’s flagship where he was at the time. Presumed dead by Malak, Malak became the new self-appointed Dark Lord of the Sith whilst Revan actually survived the attack with the aid of legendary Jedi Knight Bastilla Shan who formed a force bond with him which enabled Revan to survive with his remaining strength. Although Revan survived, he had his mind wiped and was retrained by the Jedi Council and was sent to stop his former apprentice's war. For all that, Revan was able to remember his past as a Sith but was able to overcome it, kill Malak, and destroy the Star Forge ultimately saving the galaxy. After all this, he settled down and married Bastila Shan, the woman that saved his life and they were able to live in peace for a great amount of time until more of his lost memory came back to him and caused him to go out into the Unknown Regions to hopefully find some answers. His search did not go well and was unfortunately captured by the Sith. He was held at the Sith capital world of the planet of  Dromund Kaas where he was imprisoned for over 3 years. At one point the Sith Lord, Scourge and Meetra Surik attempted to rescue him. The 3 of them tried to assassinate the Sith Emperor but however failed and Revan was imprisoned for another long-lasting 300 years. During that time, he was kept alive and mentally tortured by the emperor. When he was finally discovered by Republic Troops, his mind was seen to be fractured into light and dark. The light side of him wished to ‘die’ and become one with the force but his dark side refused to die. Once Revan was freed, his dark side again attempted to kill the Sith emperor using extreme and dangerous methods. The republic, including some of Revans own descendants fought the dark Revan on the Planet of Yavin 4 until his lightside was able to take control of his mind and finally become one with the force by the year 3626 BBY. Although he ended his life on the lightside, many Sith lords from the future saw and believed Revan was a true Sith.

The following weeks after the Mandalorian Wars, Revan managed to create his own assassin droid known as HK-47 to whom he employed to go against high-ranking political targets in hopes of achieving goals. Revan programmed HK-47 to be compliant and true-hearted towards him and the droid ended up possessing an immense liking for the violence and combat and contemplated all other life-forms to be ‘meatbags’. As Revan and Malak became Sith Lords, Revan didn’t forget about HK-47 and continued to employ him to assassinate Republic political figures so he or Malak didn’t have to do it instead and risk them being killed. However when Revan was betrayed by Malak, his beloved assassin droid fell into the hands of various different people who all eventually ended up dead and Revan managed to rediscover HK-47 on Tatooine. Unfortunately by then Revan was a different man, and over time as the droid's memory core became damaged, the droid wasn’t able to recognise his original creator.
