General Info Paragraph

Cal Kestis is a Jedi Knight who survived the events of Order 66 when he was a Padawan. He was a member of the Scrappers Guild on Bracca. Cal is the main protagonist of the game ‘Jedi Fallen Order’ and The upcoming ‘Jedi Survivor’. He’s an 18-year-old human, who is 1.82 meters and has ginger hair.

Backstory/History Paragraph

He was a Padawan to Jaro Tapal. After narrowly escaping his ship's destruction following the events of Order 66, he landed in Bracca, where he then worked as a scrapper for many years. The Inquisitors then discovered Cal, Specifically the Ninth and Second Sisters after using the force, which his connection to after Order 66 was damaged, to save his friend Prauf from falling into a Sarlacc pit located in Bracca. During inspections where both the Ninth and Second sister was present, Prauf was killed and Cal revealed his identity as a Jedi. After this, Cal was picked up by Cere, a retired Jedi, and Greez, a pilot on Greez’s ship The Mantis. Cal, Cere, and Greez went on a mission following the trails of Eno Cordova to find a Jedi Holocron containing a list of Force-Sensitive Children. During this, they picked up BD-1, Eno Cordova’s old droid, and Merrin, A nightsister. After they got the Holocron, they destroyed it so the children on that list wouldn’t be hunted by the empire.

Despite Cal’s connection to the force being weakened due to the trauma of Order 66, and his master dying right in his arms, Cal kept on to a very unique and rare force ability called psychometry, where he was able to use the force to see the history of that object, this is best shown when Cal picks up Cere’s guitar and plays a song she wrote years ago. As Cal progresses, his connection to the force strengthens, using abilities like Force Slow, Force Dash, and Force Repulse. When Cal was just a padawan, he had a standard blue single-bladed lightsaber to fight and train with, but he lost it in an elevator shaft during Order 66. When Jaro Tapal died, he gave his broken lightsaber to Cal, Cal later combined it with Cere’s old lightsaber to make a double-bladed blue lightsaber.
