The Koboh Abyss was a Nebula just outside the planet Koboh in the Outer Rim. The Abyss was also known as a ship graveyard because all that entered never made it out. The only way to get through the Koboh Abyss was by using the ‘Abyss Compass’ which was one of a kind. Inside the Koboh Abyss lay the hidden planet of Tanalorr. The Koboh Abyss contained a passage full of rock and flying meteorites that could damage your ship at any moment. Not even the best of the best pilots in the galaxy could get through it. The Abyss was so rough that not even the best comlinks could send transmissions from inside.
History/Background Information Body Paragraph:
The Jedi Order was the first to ever investigate what this Abyss was. They created a temple on the neighbouring planet Koboh to examine the Abyss. The Jedi Master Dagan Gera was one of many Jedi figuring out how to get through the Abyss. Dagan Gera created the Abyss Compass which was the compass that led him through the Abyss and let him set foot on the Undiscovered World of Tanalorr, making him the first person to ever set foot on Tanalorr. After word got out about Gera’s discovery the Nihius Mauraders Raided Tanalorr and the Republic Refused to send back-up because of the trouble of sending ships through the Abyss. By the time the Republic heard about the attack, the raiders already had set foot on Tanalorr because the comlinks not working through the Abyss. During the time of the Empire, Jedi Knight Cal Kestis managed to enter the Abyss and get to Tanalorr by using The Force to get through the rocks.

The Koboh Abyss may have more hidden planets inside of it due to its massive size.
The Ancient Natives of Koboh would praise The Abyss as the God of the Sky.
The Jedi Order abandoned Koboh because a meteorite from the Abyss hit Koboh’s moon making meteor showers arrive every day until centuries to come.
