During the last years of the Galactic Republic, Eeth Koth, a male Zabrak from the planet Iridonia who was Force-sensitive, was a member of the Jedi High Council and a Jedi Master in the Jedi Order. Koth fought alongside his fellow Jedi in the Clone Wars against the Confederacy of Independent Systems as a Jedi General for the Grand Army of the Republic. After he survived the first battle of the war on the planet Geonosis in 21 BBY, Separatist General Grievous attacked and imprisoned Koth. Grievous then used the Jedi prisoner to trick other people into falling into a trap. There, during a fight over the planet Saleucami, the Jedi Master almost avoided death after being saved by Republic forces under the command of Jedi Generals Obi-Wan Kenobi, Adi Gallia, and Anakin Skywalker.

History/Background Body Paragraph:

Around the time of the Battle of Naboo in 32 BBY and the discovery of Darth Sidious and his student Darth Maul as the new Sith presence, Koth, a male Zabrak, was a member of the Jedi High Council. Koth was present when a nine-year-old Anakin Skywalker was brought before the council and tested by Mace Windu for his force abilities and midi-chlorian count. Koth was more open to Jinn's request to train Skywalker than the other councilors were because he had begun his own training at a later age after Jinn passed away, his final wishes were for Skywalker to be trained, so Koth and the other council members agreed. He attended Jinn's burial afterward.

Following the First Battle of Geonosis, Master Koth remained a member of the Jedi council for the remainder of the Clone Wars.  Koth was present when Senator Amidala and Skywalker informed the Council that Risha Synata had turned to the Separatists, which occurred shortly after the Senate hostage crisis. Following the presentation of their findings, Synata was convicted of treason and placed under arrest.
