Mando'a is believed to have originated from the Taung's language, an ancient sentient humanoid race that first inhabited Coruscant. By force, they were driven off their homeworld by the Human Battalions of Zhell. As a result, they united under Mandalore the First in order to conquer the planet now known as Mandalore, with Mando'a as their primary dialect.

History/Background Body Paragraph

Mando'a is one of the six central tenets of Resol'nare and was required for the individual to become a Mandalorian. As a conversational language, the language was spoken more than written. Essentially, the dialect was an extremely flexible language - making it so the speakers' pronunciation varied minimally throughout the centuries. If a person needed to invent a brand-new term, the practitioner would combine pre-existing words to form a novel one. Words are typically grouped together without changing their structure in agglutinative languages.

Mandalorian culture also permeates Mando'a, as seen in its various aspects. Mandalorians believe in forging their own history, and that the next day is never a certainty. In comparison to Galactic Basic and Mando'a, this language was mostly gender-neutral, but they could still define a person's gender when necessary. Most commonly, the speakers would use adjectives such as jagyc for males and dalyc for females. Compared to other dialects, the Mandalorian language has more vocabulary dedicated to insults, which mostly focus on the negative traits of a person. Some of these examples include mocking the person's lack of hygiene, laziness, cowardice, and so on. Moreover, some appraisals, such as bravery, are absent from the culture because the act is expected unconditionally.
