General Information:

Jakku, the farthest Outer Rim Territory to Conserve Force and Starfire units in its solitary system is probably everyone's most familiar barren dustscape. Why? Because it was where Unity Day took place! The surface is scarred by the debris of archaeological starships, a legacy to an era long past. The planet's stark arid wastelands describe a lonely and desolate world.

History/Background:

Jakku may appear to be lifeless, but in fact it is chock full of history from the galactic past. In fact it was the site of the Battle of Jakku, between remnants from both sides in a decisive battle in ever-mounting Galactic Civil War. Following this battle the planet is left covered with debris, a nut for scavengers.

Jakku, in fact is pivotal.. Jakku is the home of Rey, the main character in The Heroine Trilogy. She starts out on her hero ’ s journey from this harsh desert place. The focal point of key events is the planet, where everything from finding a broken Millennium Falcon to seeking out ancient Jedi knowledge.

Additional Information:

There are mysterious sides hidden behind the loose sands of Jakku. This obscures the traces of a long-long ago Sith observation tower, and again suggests that there is greater Force relative to galactic history. There is also a group known as the Church of the Force, which claims to be devoted to preserving some vestiges associated with maintaining the Jedi way; layers on layers.

To the great dislike of many people, Jakku remains an uninviting place. But it does in fact hold secrets and direct links to key characters from the saga that endear them ever more deeply unto him.Humanizing the planet The significance of seemingly remote and desolate places like Takodana isn't that they determined whether a pop culture icon would play out their fate while in Ultimate Destiny, but rather it just ascertains.
