General Information Body Paragraph: 

Durge was a male Gen’Dai bounty hunter during the period of the Old Republic up until the fall of the Republic. Durge is most notably known for taking part in several wars as a way to claim high-rewarding bounties. During the age of the Clone Wars, Durge sided with the Confederacy of Independent Systems and joined missions frequently with Sith Assassin, Asajj Ventress. During the Battle of Muunilinst, he found himself on the opposing end of Obi-Wan Kenobi, an intelligent and coordinated Jedi Master. After many of the Separatist forces were crushed in the start of the battle, Durge sent himself along with several droids on a swoop bike assault. This initial assault led to the destruction of several of the Republic’s munitions. As a counter-strike, the Republic sent their own troopers on swoop bikes to attempt to wipe out Durge’s line. Durge then engaged head on with Kenobi, but was stabbed swiftly in the stomach with Kenobi’s lightsaber. Believing Durge to be dead, Kenobi headed off to the next advantage point. Unbeknownst to Kenobi, Durge’s body regenerated the hole that was left from the lightsaber strike. Durge followed Kenobi to the Separatist command center and engaged in another fight. This time, Durge absorbed Kenobi into his body, believing he could dissolve the Jedi and kill him. Despite this, Kenobi bested all odds and used the Force to blast Durge into bits and escape. For two years, it was believed by the Republic that Durge had perished in this fight. In 20 BBY, Durge revealed himself again after fully healing. He launched an attack against Jedi High Council members Kit Fisto and Plo Koon at M’Bardi Prison. His plan backfired however, as the Jedi overpowered him and locked him in the prison. In 19 BBY, Durge lured Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi into a trap in the Karthakk System with the intent of killing both Jedi. After a brutalizing fight against the Jedi and almost killing Kenobi, Skywalker used the Force to shove Durge into an escape pod. Skywalker launched the escape pod and guided it straight into the star of Maramere, finally killing Durge.

History/Background Body Paragraph:

Durge was a male Gen’Dai born sometime 2,000 years before the Clone Wars. As a Gen’Dai, Durge did not have any bones, and instead used armor as a way to keep muscles and organs together. This unique genetic trait also allowed the Gen’Dai to regenerate properties of their body, making them almost immortal. Durge quickly began his bounty hunter lifestyle, abandoning his original tribe at a young age. Durge participated in the New Sith Wars sometime before the end, and sided with the Sith. Afterwards, Durge became invested in Mandalorian culture, and was eventually hired to assassinate the leader of the Mandalorians. After taking part in the assassination, Durge was permanently on the Mandalorian hitlist, resulting in several encounters throughout Durge’s life. In 22 BBY, Durge joined the Confederacy of Independent Systems.

Durge wasn’t always the full-suited armored killer that the Galaxy had feared. In fact, Durge had several difficulties in acquiring his cybernetics. Due to a genetic deficiency, Durge’s limbs would constantly try to regrow over his cybernetics.
