General Information Body Paragraph:

Hoth is a cold, frosty Planet in a system that has the same name. It’s located in the Anoat Sector in the Outer Rims, and the planet is the homeworld to Wampas, Tauntauns, etc. The species were suitable with the frigid climate, mainly covered with glaciers, snow, ice, etc. It was also covered a bit in oceans. 

History/Background Body Paragraph:

During the Galactic Civil war and after the Battle of Yavin, Mon Mothma gave Leia Organa a list of possible bases in different places. At 1 ABY, the Rebellion has chosen Hoth as the new Rebellion base of operations, spending around 2 whole years building an Echo Base. 

After Hoth was discovered by the Galactic Empire by using a probe droid, it quickly became the place of a battle between the Rebellion and the Empire. The battle has resulted in the Rebellion’s defeat. 

After the battle ended, the local scavengers decided to strip the AT-ATs from the scrap.

The main interests of Hoth were Tautans, Wampas, Icefall plains, and more. The Planet was going through an ice-age during the Galactic Civil War.
