The Darksaber was an ancient lightsaber unlike any other lightsaber in recorded history. During its use, some of the most powerful individuals in the galaxy would wield it. The Darksaber was a stark black lightsaber with a pointed end, resembling that of a knife at the tip due to its curvature. The Darksaber was unique and different from every other known lightsaber because of its unique aesthetics.

History/Background Body Paragraph:

The Darksaber has a long ancient history beginning in the core world of Coruscant within the Jedi Temple. The Darksaber was stolen by Clan Vizsla in Coruscant’s Jedi Temple during a Mandalorian raid. At this time, the Galactic Republic was in a collapse of power. The Darksaber was used by the Mandalorians primarily as a symbol of leadership over other Mandalorians. In 60 BBY, the Darksaber was in the possession of Tor Vizsla, who led the Death Watch faction of the Mandalorians during this period. The Darksaber was passed down after it came into the control of the Mandalorians from clan leader to clan leader within the Clan Vizsla.

The blade of the Darksaber was approximately 1 meter in length, and the blade type was curved to a thin point like a blade. The hilt of the saber was straight with a rectangular guard. The saber’s color was black, and when ignited, the saber emitted an energetic crackling sound. When the saber makes contact with another object, it crackles much louder in addition to a slight screeching noise. The lightsaber hum of the Darksaber was different from every other saber in that it was much louder than contemporary lightsabers and it used a serrated blade emitter.
