The Force served as the galaxy's unifying energy field. Therefore, the Force, which linked living forms together throughout the galaxy, was greater than the distance. Furthermore, nothing was thought to be impossible for the Force because it was beyond the capability of any technology created by humans. Even small bugs had a place in the Force, which encompassed all life in the cosmos. The Living Force and the Cosmic Force were two different manifestations of the Force. The Cosmic Force, which connected the galaxy and transmitted the will of the Force through Midi-chlorians, received energy from the Living Force, which stood in for the energies of all lifeforms.

History/Background Body Paragraph:

Prior to the Galactic Civil War, the Force had been a recognized idea in the galaxy for well over 25,000 years, with numerous schools of thought developing simultaneously on innumerable planets. A Force-sensitive person may feel the will of the Force thanks to the Midi-chlorians, which were created on the Wellspring of Life and linked the Living Force to the Cosmic Force. Some people thought Mortis was where the Force first emerged.

The Jedi Order eventually rose to prominence as the most well-known group that followed the teachings of the Force, but there were many other faiths, orthodoxies, and rituals practiced throughout the galaxy, including among those who did not possess the ability to control or manipulate the energy field, like the Guardians of the Whills, who highly regarded the Jedi. The Jedi saw themselves as carrying out what they perceived to be the will of the Force as its agents.
