Mace Windu, a galaxy renowned force sensitive human was the Master of the Jedi Order during the Clone Wars era and was also a Jedi General in the Grand Army of the Republic. He was known to be one of the most talented Jedi of all time and was even able to win in a duel against the Sith Lord Darth Sidious after attempting to arrest him with Jedi Masters: Kit Fisto, Agen Kolar, and Saesee Tinn, who would all be struck down almost instantly, before being betrayed by Anakin Skywalker which lead to his death on Coruscant in 19 BBY.

History/Background Body Paragraph:

Born in 72 BBY on the planet Haruun Kal, Mace Windu was found by the Jedi Order at a very young age. He went through the regular Jedi training before being taken to find his lightsaber crystal, once he found it the crystal turned an amethyst color and shocked all the Jedi near him, he would then attempt to build his lightsaber and fail, this was due to his impatience and misunderstanding of the procedure, after being helped by his droid instructor he would successfully craft his Jedi weapon. Later in his training he would be taken in by Grandmaster Yoda as a Padawan, he would train under his tutelage until he entered Knighthood and he quickly ascended through the ranks becoming a Jedi Council member between the years of 50 BBY and 42 BBY as a result of his mission Raxus Secundus that he was assigned to with Count Dooku who was very upset when Windu was appointed to the Council and he wasn’t. Mace Windu would take on Depa Billaba as a Padawan and would train her until she would eventually become a part of the Jedi High Council. He would also fight alongside his Jedi peers in the Clone Wars starting at the battle of Geonosis where he would encounter both Count Dooku and Jango Fett, after Jango tried to shoot and kill Windu he would use his blade and decapitate him.

Mace Windu would also be 1 of 2 people to develop a variant of the 7th lightsaber form Juyo and they would call it Vaapad, this variant would tap into the dark sided nature of the user’s opponent and reflect it back at them, this is how he was able to perform so well against Darth Sidious, this form was forbidden for most Jedi to learn due to it’s dark nature, Windu was one of the only people to ever know it due to the fact that he developed it.
