Darth Malak was a Human male who served as a Dark Lord of the Sith in the extensive conflict of the Jedi Civil War. About two meters in height with a pale complexion, he had achieved a formidable reputation of fear among the Jedi. He was allied with the prodigious Darth Revan, a close friend before their moral corruption and fall to the Dark Side. Revan would serve the role of Malak’s teacher, but in a questionable functionality due to the cruel tendencies of the Sith tutelage. After a surge of rage at Malak, Revan would sever his jaw and force him to wear cybernetic jaw implant that would preserve his speaking ability. To prevent any recurrences of such a grievous wound, Malak would attain a characteristic of the use of a large metal shield, virtually never abandoning it.

History/Background Body Paragraph:

Antecedent to his role as a Sith, Malak, named Alek, was born on the planet Quelii in the Outer Rim Territories. Mandalorians had directed an attack on his homeworld, so he escaped the battle and fled to the Galactic Republic, whose immigration records gave him a surname identical to the name of his home village. He was then trained in the mysterious province of the Force by the Jedi Order and experience dynamic social growth, being nicknamed Squint by his convivial peers, before passing his Trials and reaching the widely desired point of Knighthood. Later, in the process of the Mandalorian Wars, Alek, a faction of Jedi, and his closest friend Revan disobeyed the Jedi Council and assisted the Republic's war implementations by performing scouting missions in the Outer Rim. After associating with the Jedi Padawan Zayne Carrick and adopting the name “Malak” to avoid the endeavors of law enforcement, he would help Carrick to surmount the Jedi Covenant. In the propulsion of the war, Malak would become a military general and achieve a reputation of boldness and recklessness, working toward their final battle at Malachor V and the pursuit of the Mandalorians into the Unknown Regions. They would then encounter the Sith Emperor of the reconstructs remains of the Sith Empireof antiquity and were subjected by the dark side of the Force under his pedagogy and they became Sith Lords.

Malak’s personality contradicted his sinister role, as he was known for his youthful optimism and acuity in his time in the Jedi Order. His willpower, in tandem with Revan’s, even hindered the Sith Emperor’s assault of them in their conflict within the Unknown Regions. Far subsequent to the point of their fall to evil, Malak still adhered indirectly and subconsciously to the Jedi Code, and carried a hesitancy to full abandonment of the Order.
