ME-8D9, nicknamed Emmie, was a protocol droid who lived on the planet of Takodana. Emmie had a feminine personality and stood at over 1.70 meters tall. She had a humanoid structure and was bronze in color. Originally a part of the Jedi Order, she converted over to become an assassin droid but soon decided she preferred the freedom to make her own choices. 

History/Background Body Paragraph:

While her date of creation remains unknown, ME-8D9 is believed to be ancient and one of the longest living droids from her era. Emmie began her work by aiding the Jedi Order as a droid, however not many details are known about this time. Emmie then traveled to Takodana where she would live out her life as an assassin droid for the Crymorah Syndicate, working for several clans to take down their enemies. After many years, she transferred her purpose to enforce the laws in Takodana Castle under the pirates. By 382 BBY, she had transferred yet again to become a cantina server at the Takodana Castle.

During the time of the New Republic, ME-8D9 was still working at the Takodana Castle. Her political alliance stood against the First Order, but her life was not driven by any galactic political systems throughout the centuries. During her many years working for the Takodana Castle, she was present during a major galactic event. In 34 ABY, Emmie witnesses the crimson red phantom energy of the Starkiller base destroy the entirety of the Hosnian system.
