General Information Body Paragraph:

Naboo Royal Handmaidens, once helpers of the Queen and now bodyguards. Yet this group of individuals is trained to be bodyguards, as aides they still have duties. Helping the Queen with everyday tasks, or helping with fashion, makeup and hair. 

History/Background Body Paragraph:

The body guards had started before the invasion of Naboo. This assembly is Eirtaé, Rabé, Sabé, Saché & Yané. These individuals all changed their name to match Queen Amidala’s, Padmé. Who would also switch places with Sabé, her shadow, to be a handmaiden. All of them were trained by the Security Captain, Panaka. They were often seen covered by a hood to hide their identities to the best of their ability. These cloaks would also conceal weapons in case they may need to protect their Queen. 

All of the handmaidens during this time were trained to be Queen Amidala, besides the youngest Saché. They all used the same tone of voice to be able to fit in her role whenever need be. Sabé would be the main decoy due to her being able to look the most like the Queen of Naboo. Handmaidens were also trained to conceal their emotions on duty. 

Additional Information Body Paragraph 

Amidala disliked others being at risk for her own safety, but after she became Queen that was not avoidable. These handmaidens had dedicated their life as Queen Amidala reigned, and Sabé served her whole life, even after her death. 

The Successor of Amidala, Réllata served beforehand. She brought several handmaidens with her who did the same as Amidala’s. Jamilla kept this tradition, as well as Apailana. Years after year this traditioned had continued with the bodyguards of Handmaidens, even the puppet queen Sosha Soruna had a few herself.
