General Information Body Paragraph:

Kenari, a planet in the Middle Rim, was a planet of  lush jungle. Except for a tribe of orphans, it had little to no inhabitants. Aside from its dense jungle, Kenari was rich in minerals. Because of this wealth, it was a target for mining for decades. It was mined so heavily that large holes appeared on the surface of the planet, visible even from the atmosphere. 

History/Background Body Paragraph:

During one of the great mining expeditions, a disaster occured that led to the Empire to leave the place as it is: a toxic environment where survival is almost impossible. Except for a tribe of orphans, there were no inhabitants, and Kenari was hardly known in the galax. But one day, a transporter corsair crashed on the planet. The tribe investigated and eventually found the ship, which was from the Confederation of Independent Systems. The Leader of the tribe first went in to search it, but a crew member shot at her. The tribe returned fire with its blowguns. Distraught over the loss, the tribe returned to their village, except for one boy named Kassa..

Additional Information Body Paragraph:

This planet appears in the current series "Andor", where Kenari is the birthplace of Andor. Andor's original name was Kassa, and he was the boy who stayed. While searching for the ship, he was taken in by Maarva and Clem Andor, who eventually became his godparents.
