Prior to the Clone Wars, on the planet Mandalore, a male Human Mandalorian named Fenn Shysa was born. Shysa fought for the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars and, along with Dala and Spar, survived as one of only three Protectors to remain following a disastrous battle on the planet Norval II. Shysa joined the two hundred and twelve-man force known as the Mandalorian Protectors, under Spar—"Mandalore the Resurrector."

History/Background Body Paragraph:

On the planet Mandalore, in a little province on its main continent, Fenn Shysa was born. Shysa and Tobbi Dala grew up as best friends, and both went on to become local constables. The two took pleasure in unwinding with a cup of Mandallian Narcolethe, although they were aware of the Galactic Republic's persistent disdain for the welfare of their home world. Under the pacifistic New Mandalorians, Mandalore preserved their neutrality during the start of the Clone Wars. Shysa and Dala were glad to start their battle to repair Mandalore's reputation as Mandalorian customs began to wane.

Into this environment entered the rogue ARC trooper Alpha-Ø2, now going by the name "Spar". Having defected from the Grand Army of the Republic before it had even left Kamino, Spar arrived on Mandalore with none of the pro-Republic sentiment that had been drilled into his brother clones and became determined to resurrect the Mandalorian Supercommandos.

Shysa and Dala were too eager to enlist when he started recruiting Mandalorian soldiers from the local police force. In an attempt to use Jango's violent reputation as a warrior and Jedi killer as a rallying point for their soldiers and a source of fear for all outsiders, Shysa started spreading rumors throughout Mandalore that Spar was the late Jango Fett's son. He would also encourage Spar to adopt the title of Mand'alor, becoming "Mandalore the Resurrector" and leader of the Mandalorians.
