General Information Body Paragraph: A vessel, commanded by one of the most competent imperial officers of the time, Thrawn, the Chimaera. After Mithh’raw’nuru’odo’s promotion to the rank of Commodore, he was given the modified Imperial Star Destroyer I-class, with a huge imprint of the legendary beast known as the Chimaera. Some of the most notable differences compared to the normal Imperial Star Destroyer I-class, was that it had 8 turbolasers crowning the command tower instead of large double-barreled heavy turrets. Furthermore, this abstract starship was equipped with two other hangars, which usual ISD I-classes do not have. The aft hangar bay was also capable of being closed by a large gate when it was not needed or in use.

History/Background Body Paragraph: Battling through numerous conflicts, being assigned as flagship of the seventh fleet and the captain, Commodore Thrawn now being one of the twelve Grand Admirals, the journey of the Chimaera would now end with the Liberation of Lothal. In the year 2 BBY, Governor Price would ask for the Chimaera’s and the 7th Fleet’s help against the newly arisen rebels in her sector. Thrawn would dispatch his fleet to help her old friend. With success at first. But at the very end, the Chimaera along with the rest of the fleet would be defeated.

It was a surprise confrontation with the creatures, so known as the Purgills. They’d destroy much of the fleet and would soon proceed to pull the remains of the fleet into hyperspace, including the heavily damaged Chimaera into the Unknown.

Additional Information Body Paragraph: Various officers and soldiers serving the 7th fleet would either be marked with the Chimaera on their arm or pauldron to display their loyalty to Thrawn. Such symbols were seen on a droid's head in the show Mandalorian.
