The Dianoga species was practically a floating eyeball with suction cup tentacles. However, they did have razor-sharp teeth, multiple hearts, bluish blood, and could grow between 7 and 10 meters. This species primarily lived in the water. However, they were able to wander outside for extended periods. 

History/Background Body Paragraph:

The Dianoga lived on the swampy planet of Vodran which was located in the Si’klaata cluster. This species was not first introduced in this environment, however. In Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope this species was first introduced in the trash chute on the DeathStar when Han Solo and Luke Skywalker went on a mission to save Princess Leia. How did this Dianoga make it on the death star to be exact? She was captured by Vordans and was given to the Empire who later then threw her into the garbage crusher.

Additional Information Body Paragraph:

This species could identify as either binary gender. However, females were more prominent. With this, reproduction was done by exchanging eggs with one another. However, they were not just left alone by chefs. Experienced chefs were able to cook the meat just right and make it a delicious breakfast, however, if it was cooked incorrectly blood parasites would activate and ruin the taste.
