General Information Body Paragraph

Order 66 was a protocol that was used by Sheev Palpatine, otherwise known as Darth Sidious, to eliminate the Jedi of The Jedi Order. The individuals who enacted the protocol were none other than the Clone Army. The Clones could not help the instinct to obey, as they were born with an inhibitor chip that forced them to follow orders. The inhibitor chip also made it so whenever the phrase “Execute Order 66” was heard by the clones, they would see the Jedi as traitors and feel an immense urge to kill them.

History/Background Body Paragraph

Chancellor Palpatine/ Darth Sidious saw the rapid creation of Clones as an opportunity to defeat the Jedi and have the Sith rule once again. He ordered the Kaminoan scientists who artificially produced the Clones to implant the inhibitor chips, deceitfully telling them that it would only be used against Jedi gone rogue. One Clone’s inhibitor chip executed the protocol, Order 66, before Palpatine had planned and was seen as a traitor for it.

An Arc Trooper clone possessing the nickname “Fives” was close to proving the truth in what he found about the inhibitor chips. He knew Chancellor Palpatine was behind this and while he went to assassinate Palpatine, but he tragically was killed in the conflict.
