A Saava plant was a parasitic flesh-eating carnivorous plant. It has a long, diluted-red flower shaped-head and long vines. The Saava plant’s homeworld was in Kashyyyk, a planet covered in trees and dense forests. Its habitat is in the Shadowlands, dark forests located on Kashyyyk. The hunting style of the Saava plant is very interesting, they stretch their vines out towards the host they will take over, and latch on to them.

History/Background Body Paragraph:

The Saava plant’s first and only appearance was in the game Jedi Fallen Order, taking place around 14 BBY. You could see it on screen in-game during the mission with Jedi Padawan Cal Kestis and BD-1. When the Saava eventually attacked, he managed to ward the plants off with his lightsaber.

Additional Information Body Paragraph:

Despite the plant’s appearance, it has incredible durability. When approaching a target, it would retract if it felt it was going to be imminently in danger. The Saava plant doesn’t need much food to survive, as one host could last it enough nutrients for months, sometimes even years.
