Clone Commandos, otherwise known as Republic Commandos were the elites of the Republic. Clone Commandos were often assigned to carry out special operations including sabotage, infiltration and assassination missions. These clones were trained by the Mandalorian drill sergeants, recruited by Jango Fett himself, ultimately resulting in the clones excelling in the field of covert ops and assassinations. The Clone Commandos often work in a squad of 4, focusing on superlative firepower but also essential teamwork. Due to their successes and victories during their missions, they were often considered as role models for the regular troopers.

History/Background Body Paragraph:

During the making of the clone army, the genetics of Jango Fett were taken by the Kaminoans, in an attempt to create soldiers that were superior to the regular clones. After multiple attempts, four of the subjects came out partially successful. Their genetics were a bit abnormal, but the result was still satisfactory nevertheless. Following the experiment, experiments attempting to create better clones were carried out, resulting in the mass production of Clone Commandos.

The Republic Commandos were created with no inhibitor chip inside their heads, meaning they were able to think for themselves. When Order 66 was issued by Chancellor Palpatine, a minority of Commandos refused to comply with the order, as they felt sympathetic to the Jedi, or for personal reasons. Some went into hiding, while the others stayed with their Jedi commander, protecting them.
