General Information Body Paragraph:

Stationed in the Morlani system and in the Free Trade sector,  Ferrix serves as a free trade hub across the galaxy. With its vast mountain ranges and flat desert plains, Ferrix remains a world for workers to live their life. The people of Ferrix often describe the planet as “stone and sky,” as the planet lacks any sort of ecosystem involving plants and wildlife. While there is not much known, most of the population consists of scrap workers, black market sellers, and transport operators. The day would start when the Time Grappler used hammers to play a song on a beskar anvil. Similar to an alarm clock, the Time Grappler would be set up in a clock tower of sorts, and play a tune for the people. In response, the people would take a drink and go to work, or go back to their homes. Ferrix was under the Galactic Republic during the Clone Wars, however, was taken over by the Empire over time.

History/Background Body Paragraph:

The Galactic Empire took control of Ferrix in 5 BBY. While the Empire did not make their presence a priority, their claim over the land stood, even without a formal base of operations. After conflict started to arise, an Imperial HQ was constructed to show their authority over the people.

Additional Information Body Paragraph 

The conflicts on Ferrix had started when Cassian Andor killed two Imperial guards. In 18 BBY, Cassian’s father was hanged by stormtroopers in response to a riot on Rix Road. After that, Cassian’s anger for the Empire only grew. After an investigation, and attempted coverup, Syril Karn uncovered the truth about the deaths of the Imperial guards, and is sent to capture Cassian. While his attempt was a failure, Syril Karn caused a backlash of members of the community to revolt against their control, causing an ambush.
