Located in the Koros sector of the Deep Core region, Empress Teta was a purplish planet with forests and mountains across the terrain. It was home to one of the first civilizations in the galaxy and was at the center of the Great Hyperspace War. The daycycle of the planet was 23.5 standard hours and it circled around its sun every 359 days. The planet was known by many names across the span of time, most notably it was known as Koros Major and the Cinnagar.

History/Background Body Paragraph:

While many ancient civilizations are in ruins, some buildings on Empress Teta have been dated back to 27,000 BBY. The planet’s economy was dependent on mining throughout its existence, making it a leading contributor and powerhouse for the Mining Guild. Through the years it also became a part of three major trade routes that spanned across the galaxy. By the time of the Galactic Empire, the population had risen to over 300 billion and the majority were human.

The planet was named after its leader, Empress Teta. The original name was Koros Major, but due to her tenacity for conquest the planet was named in her honor. She was a commander during the Great Hyperspace War and fought alongside the Jedi against the Sith. However, since their initial heroic legends, the planet of Empress Teta has fallen towards treachery. Due to the Mining Guild collectively siding with the Separatists, the planet of Empress Teta was forced to go against the Republic. The planet also became home to many Krath, a group of Sith worshipers who caused chaos across the galaxy. During the time of the Galactic Empire, Empress Teta had also sided with them and was against the rebellion.
