General Information Body Paragraph:
Due to the lack of experienced soldiers within the early years of the Empire, the Phase 0 Dark Trooper Project was created to help not only benefit the Empire but also return the Clones back to their peak performance for the Empire to use against their enemies. As well, this was the same experimentation or technology that was used on Darth Vader.

History/Background Body Paragraph:

As the Phase 0 Trooper Project was implemented within the early years of the Empire, This was due to not only a lack of experienced troopers but also due to clones aging more quickly than normal and their skills being lost. Since the Empire wanted to use them, they were mostly made into combat instructors for the Empire to help train the future generation of Storm Troopers. If they weren’t to be able to fully conduct themselves as instructors, they would undergo the Phase 0 Dark Trooper Program. This was when they had 70% of their body—limbs, organs, etc.—removed and replaced with cybernetic parts, Similar to what happened to Darth Vader. Due to their combat experience and newly cybernetic-enhanced bodies, they were a force to be reckoned with. But as many were forcibly recruited into the project, many of the troopers couldn't bear the fact that they had become more machine than man and attempted suicide during the project's process. The project was finally and eventually shut down due to the major increase in recruitment of non-clones as well as the Empire's growing power.

Additional Information Body Paragraph:
Due to the project getting shut down, there were an additional three phases of the program for them to become Dark Troopers. In reality, they were more like Dark droids since half or, well, mostly their whole bodies were fully cybernetically enhanced and changed.
