General Information Body Paragraph:

The landscape to start with is very sandy and dry. There is not much water on this planet. Therefore, many of the inhabitants absorbed water from the air using moisture farms. This planet is also located on the outer rim of the galaxy. The planet isn’t very beautiful in most people’s eyes but it still holds many things. The solar system it is in consists of 2 stars, which may be the cause of all the heat there. The creatures of Tatooine are also like no other. One of the most common creatures on this planet is a Tusken Raider. They are a very aggressive tribe and they maraud a lot of Tatooine. Tusken Raiders travel in single file lines to hide their numbers. They have trained Banthas, another creature on Tatooine to ride on. Tusken Raiders are also called sand people since they reside on Tatooine, a sand planet.

History/Background Body Paragraph:

Tatooine has a rich history belonging to the Star Wars prequels and the original trilogy. Anakin Skywalker was a child on this planet who grew up there until he was 9. He was then recruited as Obi-Wan Kenobi’s padawan. Tatooine also has a spaceport where most of the trading and interaction happens. Many slaves used to live on Tatooine. Tatooine was mostly ruled by the criminal organization, the Hutts. The Hutts were led by Jaba the Hutt until Leia Organa ended his rule.

Tatooine has been in the archives since 41 BBY. It resides in the outer rim of the galaxy. Pourstone was used to build some of the dome-shaped houses.
