General Information Body Paragraph: 

Varl was the original homeworld of the Hutt species, being located in the Ardos system. This planet was much like the more recent homeworld of the Hutt species, Nal Hutta, but it was more of a scrapyard / wasteland looking planet. It was polluted and was not swampy and greasy like Nal Hutta. This planet was incredibly old, and from what the history tells, it was discovered and inhabited in 25,200 BBY by the Hutts.

History/Background Body Paragraph: 

Varl had many similarities to Nal Hutta. It had the same order and law, and the Hutts did not change much in the time between Varl and Nal Hutta. The planet was also home to the Hutt Empire, and the Infinite Empire. Over its time of existence, Varl had a below average population up to the point where it was destroyed in 15,000 BBY.

Additional Information Body Paragraph: 

Varl was not very populated, with its numbers being so low at 176,000. From what we know, Varl did not actually have many Hutts on it at all, and was inhabited by species such as Twi’lek. The cities of Varl were small and unpopulated, also having the shape of its roof being a dome, much like the Mandalore cities.
