General Information Body Paragraph:

Electrostaff was a staff like melee-weapon and it is designed to single combat against the Lightsaber-wielders such as Jedi, it can block lightsabers strike too, however they are not totally invulnerable against lightsabers strike, meaning the staff could be destroyed by the Lightsaber. They are manufactured by Baktoid and Armor Workshop and Holowan Mechanicals. Electrostaff often plated in Phrik alloy, which made them resistant to lightsabers, even though it is not powerful enough. Each of the end of the staff was tipped with purple or yellow electricity. Some Electrostaffs possessed long, metallic shafts and transparent ends, while other versions had longer, black shafts and metallic ends. Even though the staff can be destroyed by lightsabers, it's still powerful enough to stop someone’s heart after 5 seconds of contact.

History/Background Body Paragraph:

During the Clone Wars, the IG-100 MagnaGuard used the Electrostaff during the fight against the Jedi.  Droid mercenary AD-W4 utilized Electrostaff in his duels with Mace Windu, but was ultimately destroyed by Master Mace Windu on Hissrich. During the Galactic Civil War Electrostaff were mostly used by the Imperial such as Imperial Heavy Troopers, Purge Troopers, Shock Troopers, and the Emperor's Royal Guard.

The IG-100 MagnaGuard were able to use some deadly effects such as capturing the Jedi High Council member Eeth Koth and tortured him. Also General Grievous took one of the IG-100 MagnaGuard’s Electrostaff that had been defeated by Obi-Wan Kenobi to break the space window in order to escape.
