Avedot's moon was a mountainous moon in the Colonies area that housed Base 354-23X, a New Republic impound facility. The facility was later abandoned, but it still housed a collection of weaponry captured from pirates years previously. The moon of Avedot was a rugged, mountainous terrestrial moon that orbited the Colonies at grid square L-8 of the Standard Galactic Grid. Its atmosphere was breathable to humans as well as other creatures such as Aqualish and Clawdites. The sky over the moon was blazing orange but seemed blue from space.

History/Background Body Paragraph

During their struggle against the First Order in 34 ABY, the Resistance sought supplies and weaponry. Poe Dameron and Finn were therefore dispatched to meet with a contact on the Wayward Comet refueling station, who told them of a stash of seized weaponry held at Base 354-23X. Dameron and Finn headed to the moon with a squad of Resistance agents but were chased by the Kendoh Gang, commanded by Kendoh Voss, who planned to turn Finn over to the First Order and collect the reward on him. Dameron was successful in locating the stash of weapons, but the bounty hunters killed the other Resistance members while on the hunt for Finn.
