General Information Body Paragraph:

Holocrons were small pieces of equipment to hold sacred knowledge and information, Holocrons were used by both Sith and Jedi alike. Holocrons are very important to both factions and can only be opened by Force Sensitive individuals. Holocrons contained all types of knowledge such as Lightsaber forms, previous events, lessons, how to use and control different Force abilities, and much more. Some factions who followed the Darkside/Lightside also used Holocrons but these contained information from both sides.

History/Background Body Paragraph:

Jedi Holocrons were mainly stored in a section of the Archives which only the Jedi masters on the Jedi Council could officially enter, this section was called the Holocron Vault. The Holocron vault was a decently sized vault with hundreds of Holocrons stored there. This vault was watched by the Chief Librarian and had lots of security such as movement detection lasers, and was blocked by dilating doors, the Twelve Jedi Masters on the Council would use the Force to unlock said doors. After Order 66 the Holocrons could be found all over the place, Darth Vader and his Inquisitors tracked the location of these Holocrons and destroyed them in an attempt to stop Jedi training hoping it would reduce the chance of Force Sensitives becoming Jedi.

Sith Holocrons had the same function as Jedi Holocrons but were red and had a pyramid-like shape. The Jedi saw the Sith Holocrons as one of the most dangerous artifacts in the Galaxy. These Holocrons could only be opened by Force Sensitives who could control the Dark side of the Force, unlike the Jedi Holocrons being able to be opened by any force sensitive
There was no exact location for Sith Holocrons, they were found in pretty much anywhere Sith related.
