Darth Mortis was a human male Sith Lord of the resurgent Sith Empire, who served as a Dark Councilor, under the Sphere of Laws and Justice of the Empire, during the Great Galactic War and the Cold War. In his lifetime, Mortis ensured that the Peace Treaty of Coruscant was followed by the Sith and the Republic after the Great Galactic War. Later, he assumed a leadership role in the Empire alongside Darth Marr and Darth Ravage, when the Dark Council decreased in numbers.

History/Background Body Paragraph

The early life of Darth Mortis is not well recorded. He was said to have served in the Sith Empire during the Great Galactic War. After the War ended, he was promoted to a Dark Councilor during the Cold War. As a Councilor, Mortis was in charge of maintaining the law and order of the Empire and ensuring that justice was rendered to everyone. Mortis had an apprentice called Zavrasha whom he trained after the end of the Cold War.

Darth Baras had betrayed the Empire by proclaiming himself the Emperor’s Voice. After the defeat of Baras at the hands of the Wrath of the Emperor, Darth Mortis killed Baras in front of the Dark Council and along with Darth Marr, bowed down to the Wrath and gave him his rightful seat on the Dark Council.
