General Information Body Paragraph: The gigantic serpent-like beast known as the Zillo Beast was 97 meters tall and towered above every other creature on its native planet of Malastare. It was said to be at the top of its food chain up to the time of its alleged extinction. As eight pointed spikes made up its long tail, the creature also had a third arm that protruded from its back. The Zillo Beast could see in complete darkness and possessed two brilliant green eyes. It also had strong jaws and claws that are capable of biting through metal. Explosions, blaster fire, and even lightsaber attacks could not penetrate its strong plated armor. Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker found a weakness in the beast's protective plates that could  be exploited to hurt or stun the creature when fighting against what was thought to be the last Zillo Beast in existence. Clone troopers were able to defeat the beast by employing RX-200 Falchion-class assault tanks to put the creature to sleep so that it could be transported to Coruscant after the conflict. 

History/Background Body Paragraph: The Zillo Beast, sometimes known simply as "the Beast," was an indigenous reptile creature to the planet Malastare. Long before 21 BBY, the Dugs believed this enormous monster to be extinct; nevertheless, during the Battle of Malastare, the Galactic Republic's electro-proton bomb unintentionally found what appeared to be the only surviving example. Sheev Palpatine, the Supreme Chancellor, hoped to help the Grand Army of the Republic by using the Zillo Beast's impenetrable hide. The monster was transported to Coruscant for examination, but not long after, it escaped its bonds and ransacked the city. Ultimately, the Jedi and Republic army had no option but to use a potent toxin—the same one that had caused the Zillo Beast to devastate Coruscant—in bigger quantities in order to kill it. Palpatine gave the command to clone the monster once it was slain.  

Additional Information Body Paragraph: Doctor Sionver Boll noticed the creature may have been sentient when it was being held captured on Coruscant. The creature's aggressive actions against Supreme Chancellor Palpatine supported this inference. The beast plagued the globe after escaping its confinement facility in an unsuccessful effort to assassinate the Chancellor. Later, when scaling the Senate building, it was destroyed by poison gas launched by Republic Gunships, but Palpatine had Boll clone the beast. By the Imperial Era, the Benathy on their homeworld revered a Zillo Beast as a god. Darth Vader was unable to vanquish the beast during a conflict between the Galactic Empire and the Benathy. Years later, though, his grandson Kylo Ren would defeat the monster. Ren forced the Benathy to pledge allegiance to the First Order because their deity was now dead.
