General Information Body Paragraph:
The 187th Legion was an elite Clone Legion during the Clone Wars that served the Galactic Republic. The 187th was commanded by Jedi General Mace Windu and CT-411 or also known by his nickname “Ponds”. You could’ve distinguished the 187Th by their purple Phase I Armor associating with their Jedi General’s unique Lightsaber color. The 187th was mostly known for its courage shown in the Battle of Ryloth or the Liberation of Ryloth in which they together with the natives Twi'leks liberated the Planet from Separatist Rule.

History Information Body Paragraph:
Four weeks after the Battle of Geonosis in 22 BBY the 187th   was created and assigned to Jedi General Mace Windu also in the same year the members of the 187th decided to paint their Phase I Armor in purple. In 21 BBY the 187th was deployed on the planet of Dantooine where they accomplished a victory against the Separatists Battledroids. In 19BBY the 187th participated in the Battle of Coruscant in which the Confederacy of Independent Systems attacked the Planet and captured the Chancellor until he was saved by Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker.

Additional Information Body Paragraph:
The 187th Legion possessed Phase I and II Armors but Airborne Armors as well. They also possessed average Clone Trooper weapons like DC-15S Blaster-carbine, DC-15A Blaster Rifles and DC-17 Hand blasters. In the Battle of Coruscant the 187th Legion fought on the ground amongst The Muunilinst 10 and other units of the  Special Operations Brigade. CT-411 or “Ponds” died in the Battle of Dantooine in 22 BBY along with some of his fellow comrades. Some notable members of the Legion were:  Ct-6910 “Razer” and “Stek”.
