Celebrated by the Wookiees, Life Day served as a tradition of joy amongst friends and family alike. It has historically taken place on the Wookiee's home planet, Kashyyyk. After the collapse of the Empire, Life Day was embraced with new hope for the galaxy through music and entertainment. Feasts would be gathered at the Tree of Life, with sacred foods from the Shadowlands. The trees around the gathering would be decorated with glowing orbs and rituals would be sung to all attendees of Life Day. 

History/Background Body Paragraph:

In 32 BBY, Qui-Gonn Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi visited Kashyyyk to behold the celebratory stature of Life Day. A Wookiee by the name of Brennonn greeted them there and tasked them to find a missing Wookiee. However, the festival was ambushed by Trandoshan hunters. The Jedi and several Wookiees were captured but managed to eventually rid the hunters of the festivities. 

Additional Information Body Paragraph 

With the fall of the Empire, Life Day became an annual celebration on Kashyyyk. It was a joyous event that would bring people from across the galaxy to celebrate. While there’s no specific date that the event takes place, it is held after each Autumn season of Kashyyyk. In the time of the First Order-Resistance War, a Wookiee by the name of Chewbacca took Rey Palpatine to the planet of Kashyyyk to celebrate Life Day with his family.
