History/Background Body Paragraph:

In ancient times, Chandrila was a settlement of settlers who built the Old Gathering House. Chandrila is a member of the Galactic Republic and one of the core Founders. During the Clone Wars, Mon Mothma served as Chandrila's senator in the Galactic Senate. During the initial rebellion against the Galactic Empire, Chandrila was listed as part of the Alliance to restore the Republic's safe world. A map of the galaxy with legends listing the various secure Alliance worlds, starfighter centers at level five and above, rebel areas of operations and regional headquarters, and planets darkness with deep space archives, including Chandrila. This map was later included in The Rebel Files. During the Galactic Civil War, Chandrila aided the Alliance.

The planet's capital is Hanna City, which hosts the Chandrila Senate; site of the Galactic Senate of the New Republic in the months following the Battle of Endor. Other known locations on Chandrila include the Old Gather-House, Senator Plaza and Silver Sea. The Junari Point settlement is located a few kilometers from Hanna City and has a bar.
