General Information Body Paragraph

Ataru, also known as “The Way of the Hawk-bat”  or “The Agression Form”  was the fourth form of saber combat used by the Jedi Order. It was a very old form, created way back as early as the time of the Mandalorian Wars. It was used by Jedi and Sith as time moved on most of the time. Due to how aggressive this form was, it had quick-pace attacks and was effective in fighting a single opponent althought not in confined spaces or prolonged combat. This form was also not recommended for fighting against opponents wielding blasters. It was a characterized form that was assisted by the Force for doing acrobatics such as somersaults and leaping strikes. This form also had fast strikes going from multiple directions.

History/Background Body Paragraph

This form was the fourth form of Lightsaber combat and relied heavily on speed, agility and the Force to help it against its opponent. The practitioners of Ataru always used the offensive and attacked with wide, fast swings. They constantly used force to help them with their movements and attacks. By allowing the force through their body they would be able to overcome certain physical limitations.  A Jedi using this form would need to use all of their force power to surpass the normal physical rate of motion, speed and order in order to master the form. Movements such as running, jumping and spinning were all kinetics of the form. Users of this form would move at high speeds with the use of powerful blows and acrobatics being used. Spinning attacks were utilized from air or ground and were also one of the important parts of the form and using the form for that. Users of this form would fight in a blur and attack from all directions. The force always aided the user in every way when fighting.
