Task Force Nova was a Republic task force that was composed of both military and civilian members. This initiative was founded by Supreme Chancellor Galena Rans in 3627 BBY with the assistance of General Ardinondu Dipolus Daeruun and Jedi Master Gnost-Dural. When created, its task was to rebuild the fragmented Jedi Order.

History/Background Body Paragraph: 

Led by fantastic Republic operatives like Theron Shan, Task Force Nova would be vital during the third Galactic War in crippling hostile factions such as the Sith and the Eternal Empire. With their headquarters at Carrick Station, Task Force Nova had a broad reach throughout the galaxy which allowed them to effectively deploy and complete their taskings and missions.

One of the main taskings of Task Force Nova was to locate and gather any remaining Jedi throughout the galaxy. This was due to the consensus belief that the Jedi were essential if the war was to be brought to the doorstep of the Sith Empire during the third Galactic War.

When ‘The Commander’, leader of the Eternal alliance and future leader of Task Force Nova, was first contacted it was founding member General Daeruun who became the liaison between the Eternal Alliance and Task Force Nova which allowed for both sides of the alliance to freely exchange both intelligence and military reinforcements whenever and wherever it was required.

The leader of Task Force Nova was codenamed ‘The Commander’ and was otherwise known as ‘The Outlander’. A legendary champion of the Old Republic he went on to lead the Eternal Alliance which eventually defeated and destroyed the ancient dark-side entity Tenebrae.
