Born in 250 BBY, Bell Zettifar was a Jedi Knight who served during the High Republic era of the galaxy. He was a human male with dark skin and was of average height. Bell was trained under Loden Greatstorm, a Twi’lek who was considerably strong in the Force and used a yellow lightsaber. When he was 18 standard years of age, Bell trained under Indeera Stokes, a Jedi Knight at the time. Bell and Indeera eventually crossed paths with a wounded charhound, an animal resembling a wolf. Bell named the hound Ember, as its skin resembled ash and magma. Ember officially became a member of the Jedi Order under Bell Zettifar, with Loden Greatstorm claiming it was a signal from the Force to bring Ember to them. Ember was brought on many assignments and even lived in the Jedi Temples. 

History/Background Body Paragraph:

Bell Zettifar was stationed at the Elphrona Outpost in 232 BBY, where treasures and secret artifacts were hidden away. Hundreds of years later, Luke Skywalker would go to the Elphrona Outpost in hopes of rebuilding the Jedi Order. Later on in 232 BBY, Bell and Loden helped to aid those in need after the Great Hyperspace Disaster. This event led to the destruction of many moons, causing debris to fling towards the Hetzal system. Bell and Loden then returned to Elphrona where they were attacked by Nihil raiders. Loden Greatstorm was presumably dead in the aftermath of this battle. Bell was then trained by Indeera Stokes, who had planned several attacks on the Nihil raiders afterward. In 231 BBY, Bell and Indeera traveled to the Nihil’s main base of operation on Grizal. During their attack, Loden Greatstorm returned to fight alongside them. After constant battles, the Nihil released a Shrii Ka Rai called the Great Leveler. The Great Leveler had the ability to sever one’s attachment to the Force and used it on Loden Greatstorm. Loden’s body became petrified as his face resembled a thousand screams, eventually turning to dust.

Additional Information Body Paragraph:

After the death of his former master, Bell continued to hunt down the Nihil raiders. While he felt pleasure in cutting down the raiders, he also knew not to take glory in killing. He knew it was not the Jedi way to seek revenge against his enemies, no matter how much it tormented him to see his former master die in agony.  Bell and Indeera took control of one of the Nihil’s cruisers in the Nefitifi sector. He took the Nihil prisoners to the Starlight Beacon for interrogation, where Bell saw Ember again. Later on, Indeera Stokes was attacked by the Great Leveler but managed to survive. Bell continued to feel his trauma building as he felt responsible for the death of Loden Greatstorm and could not bear witness to the death of Indeera. She was brought to the medical tower and was not able to connect to the Force for the remaining life she lived. Bell Zettifar stayed by her side in the medical tower throughout her recovery until the Nihil showed up and bombed the medical tower, where Indeera Stokes was never seen again. Following the destruction of the Starlight Beacon, Bell assisted with the regrouping and aiding those who were injured. Soon after the incidence, Bell Zettifar was knighted as a member of the Jedi Order, continuing the legacy of his former masters.
