One of my senior colleagues (I don't remember for sure) suggested that this song was based on a poem by a certain Oles (don't be surprised: it was in the mid-fifties!). After learning about the author, I quickly ran to the special storage of the academic library and feverishly flipped through the small book " Joy with sorrow " published by Oleksandr Kandyba, who hid under the short and blue pseudonym " Oles ".On those pages there was a poetic work of seventeen stanzas and two more lines of dots instead of the missing, probably a few " verses ".
