Friends and years. 1965, Drama, USSR. In 1965, a two-part feature film by V.F. Soklov was presented to the public. The film in the genre of "melodrama" was filmed according to the script of the famous playwright L. G. Zorin (Pokrovskie Vorota, Tsarskaya Okhota) and is a screen version of his work of the same name, which was extremely popular in the 1960s. The film Friends and the Years, telling about the fates of several friends, touched upon many problems of the Soviet Union, pain points of the public. Famous actors starred in the film: A.K. Grave (Quiet Don, Restless Economy), N. Ya. Velichko (Shield and Sword), Yu. V. Yakovlev (Ivan Vasilyevich changes his profession, Irony of Fate or Enjoy Your Bath!), Z. M. Vysokovsky (Inspector General, Once Again About Love), O. A. Anofriev (Man from Boulevard des Capucines, Colleagues). The lyrical mood of the picture is successfully complemented by the wonderful music of V. Ye. Basner. One of the songs that sounded in the melodrama-"It Was Recently" on the verses of M. L. Matusovsky, later it became especially popular. Having started to watch online in good quality Friends and Years, we get to know Vladimir, Yuri and Grisha. These are three school friends from a small town in the south of the country. They only recently graduated from college, and now they have a real independent life ahead of them. Volodya, Grisha and Yura make plans, hope and dream. However, not all of the heroes' plans are destined to come true. The film allows us to trace the different stages of their life, from the 1930s to the 1960s. Events taking place in the country (Stalinist repressions, World War II) happen in the fate of each of them, but are reflected in different ways in the characters and lives of young people. Despite the fact that the picture tells about the war, it is practically devoid of battle scenes, there is no pathos or heroic deaths for the homeland in it. The film simply and sincerely tells about ordinary people who were destined to be born at the turn of the era. In parallel, a love line develops in the film-all three friends are in love with the girl Tanya, who also studied with them at school. You can find out how the lives of the heroes will turn out, and who, in the end, will be chosen by Tatiana, if you watch Friends and Years online.
Further development of the song "Letter from Mother" ("I missed you, Seryozha ..."), written under the influence of Yesenin's poems (see notes there). It has a number of parallels with Vladimir Vysotsky's "Letter from the Wife to the Husband at the Agricultural Exhibition" (1967), which were not in the "Letter to the Mother". On this basis, " Letter to my wife" is attributed to the 1960s, after the appearance of Vysotsky's song:
"You, they talk, received a big prize..." trembling"...
LETTER FROM THE MOTHER. I missed you, Seryozha, (1) I yearned for you, my son. You write to me that you miss you too And in October (2) you will return home. You write to me that you are up to your neck, And the camp looks gloomy and deaf. But here, in our homeland, in Ryazan,
the Cherry Orchard blossomed like white smoke. Soon the cattle will be driven out into the field: The juicy grass has turned green. And under the window, Father cut down a curly mountain ash for firewood. Far away, beyond the blue slope, A pale moon floats, swaying. In the evenings, the girls sing in chorus, And you are not the only one who misses you. I'll come up - they will surround you like birch trees: “Tell me, auntie, when will Sergey come?” And one has tears gleaming - Longing-sadness of bygone days. Ah, this maiden with a blond scythe, She wondered, Seryozha, about you, And in her ear a silver earring with a pebble gleamed. So goodbye, dear Seryozha, See you soon, my dear. Well, be patient, dear, a little more, And in October you will return home. The last two lines are repeated (1) Option - "I yearned, dear Seryozha." (2) Option - "in September". "A Mother's Letter" was written under the influence of the poems of Sergei Yesenin, who is considered a classic "tramp poet" in the criminal world. Therefore, Yesenin's motives are not accidental - mother, the name Seryozha, Ryazan, mountain ash, a comparison of a cherry orchard with white smoke (Yesenin - "I do not regret, I do not call, I do not cry, / Everything will pass like smoke from white apple trees ...") . Yes, and the genre of writing itself immediately refers to Yesenin’s “You are still alive, my old woman” ... Actually, “A letter from mother” is, as it were, a kind of answer to a dissolute son who wrote - “I am still just as gentle And I only dream of that, To sooner from rebellious melancholy To return to our low house. And the second version of the song is already “Letter from my wife”. He, apparently, is later and is an adapted alteration of the "Mother Letter". Curious, by the way, are the parallels with Vladimir Vysotsky's Letter from the Wife to the Husband at the Agricultural Exhibition. For example, in Vysotsky - "You, they say, received a big bonus", in "Letter from his wife" - "You will receive a big amnesty"; at Vysotsky - “Here Kolka came, your damned godfather, Barely gave in, I’m still trembling” ... In the “Letter” - “Keep in mind - the famous Kolka-fraer Doesn’t let me pass day and night” .. .. It seems unlikely that these coincidences (up to Kolka's name) are accidental. Most likely, the unknown author was subconsciously influenced by Vysotsky's song. Then we can assume that the "Letter to my wife" was created already in the 60s.
