Notes written by Izzy Hod: The song, Love you madly, was probably written, no later than 1889. The melody remains, more or less constant, but occasionally, attributed to other composers. The lyrics, on the other hand, retained the spirit of the song, but in different versions and for each version a different poets name. So it is still not entirely clear who wrote and who composed the song and all the combinations can be true. The source of the poem presented here, was found in the archives of, Prof. Vladimir Ivanovich Izbakov, in 2009 probably. Izbakov, testified that he copied previously unpublished poems, including this one, in 1989 and 1990, at the, Lenin Museum, before they were destroyed, when, Soviet Russia, was about to collapse in 1991. The literal description of the words of the song is as follows, It's a crazy love and it's a real miracle because I discovered my way of life in your way. My sleep is troubled by this love and my heart is moaning with rapid beats. The days are back to being as beautiful as ever of pure gold. All this even though I lost you like a lost homeland. I cherished you even before you knew me. I immediately put on the passion for you and your beauty. I have decided not to die of your magic in my dreams and openly and without fear to express my love to you. I cried tears honestly when I did not understand why you are suddenly cruel to me, why you gave me so much hope and suddenly rejected me. You fell in love with someone else and he is now happy with you. But maybe you still think of me sadly.

There are different versions of the text. With their authorship, as well as with the authorship of the melody in the sources, there is complete confusion. There is "music B. Keilya, the words of V. Belogorov" (Take my heart to the ringing distance... M., 1996), "words and music of A. Surin" (from the repertoire of Nina Dulkevich, see: Black eyes: Old Russian romance. M., Eksmo, 2004) "G. Keil-A. Surin" (maria Narovskaya's record, firm "Melody", 1979, M60-41557-58), "Y. Prigozhiy" (discography of Vadim Kozin, record of the recording factory of the All-Union Radio Committee, 1930-40s., 553. See: Black eyes: Old Russian romance. M., Eksmo, 2004, p. 383), "words by Y. Adamovich, music by Y. Prigozhego" (Shadows of the past: Old romances. For voice and guitar / Comp. A. P. Pavlinov, T. P. Orlova.-St. Petersburg: Composer St. Petersburg, 2007), etc. In general, Keil really, in principle, wrote romances on Surin's poems: "No, no, I don't want to!" But Surin himself as a composer is not mentioned anywhere.

Izvekov: "As soon as I finish typing texts, I will send you hymns, songs, romances that I once collected in the special storage of the Lenin Library. For many, I even rewrote the storage numbers. They were never published not only after 1917, but even more so after 1991. I wrote off the texts exclusively from primary sources and immediately before the elimination of these materials. It happened somewhere in 1989-1990. On my subsequent appeals a few years later, access to them was denied to me. I would very much like to keep them for everyone, or they will disappear forever.
State and patriotic songs are taken from collections approved by the "Highest Command" for cadet, cadet schools and gymnasiums. A romance or song was published until 1917 in the form of an inexpensive booklet of 4 pages with notes and lyrics, which made it possible to use their popularity at the moment.
