Nili Ben-Yehezkel and Emi – Translation from Hebrew

Along the road

And again open fields and spirit of freedom And joy –

May be my prison was a long dark, long dream Yes, only a scary dream?

And consolations of the prisoner are also a dream! And then – 

The memory of the hand that knew how to pity  and comfort 

Will die out and pass away?

Stay alive in the heart, the sorrow of a furious night, 

A little longer! Or the shadows will retreat and carry away with them 

Even the tiniest light.
